August 10–14 – Tune-Up Camp

Players are invited to attend Tune-Up Camp to prepare for tryouts and the upcoming season. The cost is $5 per day (cash only), payable directly to Coach Lauren Perri.
August 17 – Mandatory Fall Sports Athlete Meeting
8:00 AM | LMHS Auditorium
All student-athletes planning to participate in a fall sport must attend this mandatory meeting.
August 17–18 – Volleyball Tryouts
3:00–6:00 PM | Kobe Bryant Gymnasium
All athletes interested in participating in the Lower Merion Girls Volleyball program must attend tryouts.
Important: Players may not participate in tryouts unless all required CIPPE and medical forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Forms are due August 1, 2026.
Team selections will be announced following the completion of the tryout process. If additional evaluation time is needed due to the size of the incoming freshman class, Day 2 may begin earlier and/or an additional session may be scheduled for August 19.
August 19 – Mandatory Parent Meeting & Back-to-Season Team & Family Picnic

At least one parent or guardian from each family should attend this important meeting to review season expectations, Booster Club information, volunteer opportunities, fundraising, and key dates.
7:00–8:30 PM | Kobe Bryant Gym and Picnic Tables
Join us as we officially kick off the 2026 season. All players, families, and coaches are invited to attend.
This annual event gives players and families from all three teams an opportunity to meet, reconnect after the summer, and build the sense of community that makes our program special. The Booster Club will provide pizza and drinks. Families are encouraged, but not required, to bring a side dish, dessert, or snack to share.
The picnic will also serve as the primary collection event for our annual Stock the Snack Bar Donation Drive. Families who signed up to donate snacks, drinks, or concession supplies are encouraged to bring their items to the picnic.
August 19–22 – Stock the Snack Bar Donation Drive
Help us prepare for the season by donating snacks, drinks, and concession supplies for the volleyball snack bar. The snack bar is one of the Booster Club's most important fundraising efforts and helps support team events, equipment, player recognition, Senior Night, banquet expenses, and other program enhancements throughout the season.

Following team selections, preseason practices will be held Monday through Friday from 1:00–6:00 PM until the start of the school year unless otherwise announced by the coaching staff.
August 22 – LMGVB Invitational & JV/Varsity Scrimmage Tournament
8:00 AM–1:30 PM | Kobe Bryant Gymnasium
The Lower Merion Invitational welcomes teams from around the region for a morning of competitive volleyball and serves as an important final tune-up before the regular season begins. The snack bar will be open throughout the tournament, and parent volunteers are needed to assist with setup, sales, restocking, and cleanup. August 26 – Media Day & Practice
Media Day is a fun preseason tradition and an important part of getting ready for the season. Parent volunteers are needed to help with check-in, organizing players, managing props, and keeping things running smoothly.

August 24 – JV/Varsity Scrimmage at Methacton
JV and Varsity teams will travel to Methacton for a preseason scrimmage as final preparation for the regular season.
August 29 – First Regular Season Match
Lower Merion vs. Upper Merion
The JV and Varsity teams will officially open the 2026 regular season at home against Upper Merion.
September 6 – Annual All-Team Car Wash Fundraiser

The Annual All-Team Car Wash is the largest fundraiser of the season to support team activities, equipment, senior recognition, special events, and other program enhancements. All players are encouraged to participate. Parent and family volunteers are needed throughout the day to assist with check-in, donations, traffic flow, and event operations.
